Police are investigating a Burglary at a Cash Converters in Southport which took place in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday 21 April).
At around 4.50am police received a report that the business on Eastbank Street, Southport had been burgled.
It was reported that two unknown offenders gained entry to the premises, damaging the front window of the shop and stealing mobile phones and jewellery.
It is believed that the offenders made off from the scene on pedal bicycles.
The offenders are described as male, aged between 18 and 20 years old and dressed in black.
Forensic and witness enquiries are ongoing.
Inspector James Halpin said: “I would appeal for anyone who was in the vicinity of Eastbank Road early this morning who was anything or anyone suspicious, to contact us.
“Similarly I would ask anyone who was driving in the area who may have captured something on dash cam footage to get in touch. Any information you hold could be vital to our investigation to help us find the people responsible and bring them to justice.”
