Burglar targets Southport businessman

A prominent Southport business owner was left shocked and angered this morning after being forced to fend off a burglar who tried to break into their house.

The proprietor of Auberge Brasserie was disturbed by a loud noise around 7.30am this morning at their home in Park Crescent in Southport.

They were shocked and stunned to discover the hand of a would be burglar trying to break into the house.

The Male was described as around 5’7 with a grey wrinkled face and wearing an all navy shell suit with a hood and gloves.

He is thought to be in his mid 40s.
