BT outage breaks 999 emergency calls

BT have advised police forces that they are currently experiencing issues with calls to their emergency service (Police, Fire and Ambulance) 999 lines and this could affect connection to the emergency services.

Therefore we would advise members of the public to only ring 999 in an emergency to ensure we are able to respond quickly to those most in need.

All of these services are connected to our professional staff who deal with 999 calls so they will have the necessary skills and knowledge to assist you.
