Residents at Chase Heyes care home in Southport were filled with festive cheer this week after a special visit by the Salvation Army’s Brownie’s Choir.
A spokesperson for the group said “we had a great night singing a few traditional Christmas songs and mixing it up in between with come on Eileen to get everyone clapping.”
Residents said they were overjoyed with the visit and remarked that the brownies went more than out of their way to make a difference during what can often be a lonely time.
