This comedian is such a big deal on the TV we’re not allowed to name them. Safe to say if your from Yorkshire and you watch the telly on a Saturday night you’ll know this act and this is a very rare chance to see them outside of their national tour.
A legend on the UK comedy circuit Mike Bubbins has supported Rich Hall on tour, performs at festivals up and down the country and while he may be blowing his own trumpet, he’s pretty sure (and we are too) he’s the only comedy performer, writer & actor in the world who has also been a professional rugby player, a teacher, a bodybuilder, and a finalist at the European Elvis Tribute Act Championship. Honestly. Mike has written & starred in three series for BBC Radio Wales; ‘Mike Bubbins-Daytripper’, ‘2 Men 1 Job’ & hit paranormal comedy ‘The Unexplainers’ which reached No. 4 in the UK Comedy Podcast Chart. He’s also a regular host for BBC Radio Wales live outside broadcasts & specials, is a guest presenter on Rhod Gilbert’s Radio Wales show & has appeared on Lucy Beaumont’s BBC R4 comedy ‘To Hull & Back’. As an actor, Mike has starred in two independent features films, both currently in post-production and was the face of Supercell’s most recent advertising campaign for the hugely popular, Clash Royalegames. He also appeared in the Molto Croissant ads last year. Most recently Mike returned from the Edinburgh Fringe Festival where he debuted his newest solo show, ‘Retrosexual Male’. Currently, he is working on a number of exciting projects both on and off-screen.
“If you want an outside bet for stardom, back Mike Bubbins” The Guardian
“A true raconteur, and fine observational comedian” Wales Online
“Amusing and compelling…genuinely funny observations and witty stories” Three Weeks.
Sam Russell is an exciting act already making his mark on the comedy circuit, both in the UK and abroad. Warm and likeable, his optimistic, upbeat brand of comedy focuses on the hilarity of life’s weirder moments and the challenges of its everyday mundanities, to which we can all relate. A natural host, Sam is a sought-after presenter and regularly comperes at comedy nights all over the country, including a resident MC spot at London’s Angel Comedy. Also an accomplished comic improviser, Sam is a founder of the Time Out Recommended improv group ‘Shoot From The Hip’. In 2018, Sam is touring with his debut solo stand-up show ‘Lucky Bastard’.

Damion Larkin will often improvise his entire set to hilarious effect. There are no genuine comparisons to this man. He is a versatile and creative comedian who always leaves audiences wanting more. “Industrious in rotating his material…which is warmly and intelligently told” Chortle “One of the country’s top new acts” BBC(this was years ago so now he’s just one of the country’s comedians! haha)
All line ups are subject to change but don’t worry, we’ll only replace them with someone just as funny!
