Boozed up tramps shamed for memorial drinking session

Foreign homeless men drinking and smoking at the Southport War memorial have been caught on camera.

Resident Ram Jam Jit Singh sent a picture of two men smoking and drinking under the canopy of the war memorial on Lord Street today.

He complained “this was what Southport war memorial looked like at lunchtime today.

These persons were drinking beer and smoking and when I spoke to them they didn’t understand my English.”

The incident has since been reported to the police.
