Body of man found in Southport hotel room  Merseyside Police can confirm that enquiries are being carried out to establish how a man whose body was found in a hotel room in Southport died. Police officers were called to the Scarisbrick Hotel at 2.10pm by staff who had become concerned about a guest who they had not seen for several days.
