‘Body’ discovered above Halsall Road shops

Police are investigating following the alleged discovery of a body above a row of shops near to Halsall Road in Southport this afternoon.

Detectives remain on scene near to Halsall Road in Birkdale amid an investigation following the discovery of a body in a residential property.

Its understood that initial investigations show the death not to be suspicious.
