A car on the M65 that was driving 50mph above the speed limit was stopped by Lancashire police on Saturday 16 May 2020.
The BMW was driving at around 120mph, was pulled over by officers at around 6pm.
The driver has been reported to court for the breaking the 70mph speed limit.
Lancashire Road Police tweeted said: “The blue blur in lane three is a BMW travelling at well in excess of the 70mph speed limit on the M65 eastbound.
“The vehicle was stopped and the driver reported to court.
