Birkdale Village Community Hub And Library Launched
A QUIRKY new venture has been launched by the Birkdale Community Hub and Library after a temporary library facility was set up in the back of a fruit and veg shop in the village!
Viv and Ray Core and their daughter Allison, who run Stanley’s Fruit Stores on Liverpool Road in Birkdale Village, have created a temporary lib- rary facility in the rear of the store while the proposed building is being developed.
They have also held a number of fundraisers to help fund the project.
