Birkdale Village businesses hit by overnight Burglary spree

Four hard working independent businesses have been rocked by an overnight break in spree which has left business owners counting the cost.

Police and forensics officers have combed Birkdale Mews for evidence and discovered fingerprints at four different businesses in the quiet off-Street.

It’s thought a group of males gained entry through the rear of the building by smashing a door sometime between 9pm and early morning.

Any witnesses should call 101 immediately.
