Bikers unite to honour Southport legend in charity trek

31st August 2019

Friends and family of Southport legend Gaz Whitehead are taking on a pain staking bike ride in his honour covering 200 miles over four days to raise vital funds for pancreatic cancer research.

On Thursday 12th September 2019, family, friends and fans of Gary will take on an enormous fundraising challenge. In loving memory of an absolute legend taken far too soon, they will cycle 200 miles over 4 days in order to raise vital funds for Pancreatic Cancer UK.

Gary battled Pancreatic Cancer bravely but sadly passed away on 17th February. It is the desire of his family, whom he loved so dearly, to raise funds that will help ensure ground breaking research continues as well as support for other families affected by this disease.

This really will be physically and emotionally challenging for everyone involved. Your generous support, in memory of Gary, will keep them going and and help the fight against Pancreatic Cancer
