Biker rushed to A&E following collision

Emergency services have closed off part of Duke Street in Southport following a serious collision, Saturday 14 March 2020.

An Audi and a motorcycle collided on Duke Street shortly after 3pm in rainy conditions this afternoon.

Emergency services including police and ambulance crews were rushed to the scene and administered first aid to the biker before they were rushed to hospital.

Their condition is currently unknown at this time and the road remains closed while an investigation is carried out.
