Biker fights for life in Canning Road smash

Paramedics are dealing with a life or death incident on Canning Road as a RTA victim fights for his life.

The road has now re-opened, thanks to the local community for their patience and understanding.

UPDATE

A man in his 80’s had fallen from his motorcycle.

Residents reported that he collided with a van at around 6pm, however a police investigation confirmed no other vehicles were involved. 

It’s thought the Male sustained severe injuries to his head and torso in the accident.

Emergency services are on scene and have been forced to close the road while first aid is administered.

The victim remains on the scene due to the severity of his injuries making it difficult for him to be moved.

An ambulance is on standby and police are currently speaking with neighbours to find out what happened.

Witnesses and residents from nearby houses have also rushed to the man’s aid.
