Big Brothers Back Scouse Channel 4 Bid

Two out of the three Liverpool Labour Mayors are backing a bid to get Liverpool as the new home of TV’s Channel 4.
High-paid council chiefs Steve Rotherham and Joe Anderson are normally better known for kicking chunks out of each other  – https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/joe-anderson-blasts-steve-rotheram-12448385 – and a lot of people think that having so many Mersey mayors paid for by the public is a bad idea. But the two rivals have put their Brexit disagreements behind them and united in a bid to bring the TV firm to the city which has now been shortlisted.
There is speculation that Anderson, Rotherham and Mersey Crime Commissioner Jane Kennedy could be asked to star in a special version of ‘Big Brother’ to be recorded in the Albert Dock. It would be strange to see the two politicos who kicked chunks out of each other over homelessness facing an eviction vote.
