Beach lovers oblivious to the winter closure of Ainsdale beach have paid a high price after wardens caught out drivers parking around Toad Hall.
The common tactic of beach lovers to park up near to Ainsdale discovery centre is not unusual and traffic wardens were spotted lying in wait to catch out those who wanted to park and not pay this Sunday.
At least ten cars which had been left on single yellow lines were ticketed and furious drivers will now pay the high price for a day on the beach.
