Ballet Stars celebrate with not one but “tutu” parties!

26th February 2020

Local Businesses, babyballet Southport, Formby & Crosby is celebrating 10 years since the Pre School dance classes started in our region. Jennifer Berrett the owner wanted everyone to be included in the celebration, so decided to have both a children’s party and a ball for the grownups too!

On Friday 21st February, over 50 boys, girls and their families attended the party at The Temperance Institute, Southport where they enjoyed all the babyballet® favourite dances and were enchanted by the beautiful Flutterstar the fairy and cute, cuddly babyballet mascot bears Twinkle & Teddy who joined in with the dancing too!

The party goers aged from 6 months had a magical time. Zoe Grant, mummy to Evelyn aged 11 months said

‘We had a great time, thank you to everyone involved, I know one little girl who will be dreaming of big teddies tonight!’

Miss Jennifer said “I had such a magical time, I can’t believe it has been 10 years since our first Classes! I Loved dancing and singing with everyone today. It was so lovely that people made the effort to come even if they left our classes years ago, everyone was so good, joined in so beautifully. A highlight for me was seeing my own children enjoying the party and their faces when the characters entered the room is just magical. There are no words to describe how mesmerized they all look, it gives me goosebumps even after 10years!”

The ball was held on Saturday 22nd Febuary at The Vincent Hotel in Southport, The guests were treated to a welcome drink of babyballet pink or blue, followed by a three course meal and LOTS of dancing! The dancefloor was full all night as the guests were entertained by singers Kelly Bond and Jon Coates and Kevin Spofforth on the Saxaphone. There was even a surprise dance by the babyballet mascots Twinkle and Teddy the bears that gave the room a huge buzz and everyone was on their feet clapping and dancing along.

Raffle’s were held at each event to support Tommy’s which raised £437.58 for the charity. Tommy’s believe that every baby lost is one too many. Tommy’s funds and conducts pioneering research into the causes and prevention of baby loss and provides expert pregnancy information to make pregnancy safer for everyone, no matter who they are or where they live.

Erin Photography was on hand to capture the special evening too.

Jennifer Berrett and babyballet Southport was recently a finalist in Whats on 4 Little Ones awards for Most Loved Baby Class.
