A top Southport golfer has earned £50,000 for charity after making an almost impossible hole in one shot at the British Masters
Matthew Baldwin sank an incredible hole in one shot from the tee at the Belfry yesterday.
The Southport golfer has been competing in the British Masters hosted by Sir Nick Faldo.
As part of the tournament the sponsors BetFred had promised that they will donate £50,000 to charity on behalf of anyone who gets a hole in one.
Dutifully Matthew obliged with an incredible shot leading to huge cheers from the crowd and an aged Matthew.
He is currently tied in 43rd place at Even Par
