Award winning creative play sessions re-launched in Southport and Formby

An innovative and award winning programme for pre-school children has been re-launched in Southport and Formby.

The Creation Station’s hands-on art and craft exploration sessions giveeven very young children the chance to safely experiment with a wide range of materials, tools and ideas.

Vickie Gilliver, mum of 2, took over the business in October and is leading the weekly, term-time programme for youngsters and their parents/carers at various venues across the area, and building on the amazing pre-existing classes, that are still on-going at Playtown, Ocean Plaza.

To celebrate the re-launch, there are a number of free taster sessions available each week and regular customers will receive an online discount when booking block sessions.

Vickie said: “I am really excited about bringing the Creation Station to Southport and Formby.

Our aim is to inspire children’s imaginations through our specially designed art and craft activities and products.

As well as being terrific fun for both child and adult the sessions encourage positive parenting skills throughpractical creative play. Creating their own piece of art each week also helps develop a child’s thinking and creative skills. Another plus point for parents is that even when we get messy using paints and clay they don’t have the worry and stress of cleaning up like they would at home.”
