Arrests this week by Southport local policing team officers

Shaun Anderson, a 31 year old man, was arrested on Tuesday this week and charged with shop theft and criminal damage to a police vehicle.

A 40 year old woman from Bootle, Helen Fidler, was arrested and charged with three offences of shop theft in Southport town centre.

A 41 year old woman from Southport has also been interviewed over theft of £70 worth of goods from a town centre shop.

Investigations continue into two more shop thefts and two thefts of bikes that occurred in Marshside.
