Helicopters and police units are scouring an area of Southport after Lancashire police attending a property in Birkdale. Armed units from Lancashire police assisted by their Merseyside Colleagues at a property on Lincoln Road shortly after 1pm today. Local residents told our reporter that a male fled from the scene and they are currently searching for him in the immediate area. Three ground Units and a team from the helicopter division have been called to aid the search. An update from Lancashire police is expected shortly.
