Argos to close Lord Street store – January 26

Argos will finally close down on the 26th January leaving another empty property on Lord Street, Southport.

A spokesperson from the company said: “The decision to close a store is never taken lightly.

“We review our estate to ensure that we have the right stores in the right locations for our customers and we are closing our Lord Street store.”

“We will make every effort to support our colleagues in finding alternative roles wherever possible.”

The Argos at Kew will continue to trade as usual.
