Appeal for missing mum and baby with links to Southport

A 17-year-old girl has gone missing from home with her 17-month-old baby.

Police said they were “growing concerned” for their welfare.

The teenager, Courtney Edgar, was last seen at 10.45am yesterday in the Highfield area of Blackpool with her 17-month-old baby girl.

Courtney is described as being white, 5ft 7in tall with very long dark hair. She was last seen wearing a cream coloured jacket with a fur collar and dark trousers and was pushing a burgundy pram.

Aside from Blackpool, she also has links to Merseyside, particularly the Southport and Sefton areas.
