Appeal to locate Sean Clamp who may have information in connection with theft in Birkdale

POLICE think 30-year-old Sean Paul Vincent Clamp may have information to assist an investigation into theft in Birkdale earlier this month.

Clamp is white, 5ft 9in, of slight build with blonde hair, and blue eyes.

At around 10.10pm on Tuesday 3 December, a man entered Spar in Liverpool Road and stole a British Heart Foundation charity tin.

CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing.

Sergeant Jenni Bowman said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we’d like to speak to Clamp as soon as possible, as we think he may have information to assist us.

“If you know where he is, or hold any other information in relation to the offence, please come forward and we will do the rest.

“To steal from a charity which carries out life-saving work across Merseyside is abhorrent, and we are determined to find the person responsible and put them before the courts.”
