Detectives investigating a theft in Liverpool City Centre on Friday, 20 December have issued a CCTV image of a man they believe could have information to assist enquiries.
At around 9.35am, officers were called to F.Hinds Jewellers in St Johns shopping centre following reports a man had entered and made off with two rings after asking the sales assistant to show them to him.
He made off in the direction of Lime Street. No one was injured during the incident.
Enquiries are ongoing to locate the offender and establish the full circumstances and anyone with information is asked to get in touch.
Detective Inspector Amy Smith said: “An investigation is underway following the theft of two rings on Friday.
“We are particularly keen to speak to the man pictured and believe he could have vital information to assist the investigation. I would ask him, or anyone who recognises him, to please contact us. Any information you can provide could prove vital to the investigation.”
