Appeal for information after targeted attack in Birkdale

A attack on a house in Weld Road, Birkdale has left police searching for a what is believed to be a revenge attacker.

A car and numerous windows of a house on Weld Road were smashed up overnight in what detectives suspect is an act of revenge.

Police were called shortly after 3am to the scene in Birkdale where they found a Vauxhall convertible had been attacked and a number of windows smashed in.

Officers are now asking for anyone with any information or CCTV footage to come forward.
