APPEAL | Cyclist hospitalised after RTC in Southport.
A cyclist has suffered broken bones after a near collision with a car in Southport, Thursday 10 May 2018.
The male cyclist was travelling along Cemetary Road at around 7pm, when approaching the junction of Upper Aughton road prior to a BMW pulling out causing the cyclist to slam on and go over the handle bars.
The driver of the offending vehicle sped off despite injuring the cyclist and now police are appealing for help in tracing him.
Paramedics rushed to the scene and transferred him in an ambulance to Southport hospital where he is currently being treated for a suspected broken shoulder.
