POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary was reported in Southport yesterday (Monday 29 April 2019).
It was reported that an offender had gained entry into a property on The Walk through an insecure door at around 5.30pm.
He was disturbed by the occupier and made off through the back door of the house.
At this stage it is thought the offender stole items of food and drink.
The offender is described as white with olive-coloured skin, around 30 years old, around 5ft 8in tall and of medium build. He had short dark hair and was clean shaven. He was wearing black trousers, a lightweight black anorak and black trainers.
