APPEAL after aggravated UTMV and Criminal Damage

POLICE are requesting assistance to identify the individuals involved in offences of aggravated UTMV and Criminal Damage. This was after an incident at Rimmer’s Bridge, Green’s Lane, nr Ormskirk, West Lancashire.

Offenders have used a JCB stolen from the site to cause the damage shown in the images. This is believed to have occurred between 15:45hrs on the 23rd April 2019 to 06:00hrs on the 24th April 2019.

The damage caused is significant and is going to have a huge impact on the Canal and River Trust who are conducting work at the bridge. The bridge at this stage is likely to be inactive whilst repairs are completed.
