Appeal after smash and grab from car in Southport

A purse has been stolen from the passenger seat of a car outside Hampton Road clinic this afternoon, Tuesday 10 April.

The purse contained sentimental pictures and baby wings belonging to the owner who has been left devastated by the theft.

The owner hopes the purse and the sentimental items have been dumped while the thieves made off with cash and cards.

Anyone who may have discovered the purse or seen anything suspicious in the Hampton Road area this afternoon is encouraged to call Merseyside Police on 101 immediately.
