At 14:20 this afternoon, Monday 3 February a bike was stolen from High Park.
Owner Russell Hagen said, “this piece of trash strolled into my works car park, Kinderworld on Bispham Road Southport , removed some bolt cutters from his JD sports bag and cut through the wall mounting that my bike was locked to, then rode off.
The bike is a black Merida Crossway 40 hybrid with a rear pannier rack, with a distinctive rear light, similar to that shown in the photo.
The ‘man’ was wearing dark green jogger pants and a dark (black?) hooded top. He was carrying a JD Sports bag.
Its all been recorded on CCTV, reported to the police and the bike is registered with a national bike registry (there is a sticker on the frame and an ID number etched ontot the frame) Please share this as much as possible.”
