North Meols Lawn Tennis Club, which is situated in Mill Lane Crescent, Churchtown, is hosting an Open Day on Saturday 27th. April running from 10.30am to 2pm.
Everyone is welcome, from those who have never played tennis before to experienced club players – and of course any budding future stars.. The event is free and is run in conjunction with the Lawn Tennis Association. The Open Day offers fun for all the family – including those who fancy trying the game for the first time.
The club coach, Rob McNulty, will be on hand with coaching, advice and tips, as well as organising fun competitions with some great prizes. Tennis rackets will be available to borrow, the bar will be open and refreshments will be available throughout the sessions.
Anyone who can’t make the Saturday, another session will run on the Sunday, April 28th. from 2pm to 4pm.
Please park considerately so as not to block the crescent for emergency vehicles.
Both sessions are open to everyone, whatever your level of experience or ability.
Judith Heaton, Club Chairman, said: “The spring is here so time to get motivated! Come along, bring the family and give tennis a try – it might be the start of something big!”
