More dangerous and influential graffiti begging Ainsdale residents not to take up the Covid 19 vaccine has been daubed on a busy main roadside.
The Sefton Council tourism hoarding on Liverpool Road, seen by tens of thousands of drivers every week, has been plagued with anti-vaccine rhetoric for months and was recent cleaned away.
But now the unidentified graffiti artist behind other anti-covid messages has returned to their favourite canvas, annoying locals and council chiefs alike.
The latest message reads “ASTRA ZE NECA [sic] WEAPON THAT KILLS – IPSOS MORI”
The signage encourages people to research the medical implications and affects of the popular Astra Zeneca Covid-19 vaccine.
Ironically for the graffiti artists, the latest Ipsos MORI polls show a growing number of UK residents showing support for the vaccine and a willingness to be vaccinated againt the undeniably deadly COVID-19 virus.
A new Ipsos MORI UK poll has found that 9 in 10 UK residents said that they would either probably or definitely take a COVID-19 vaccine, up 7 points since December, with people’s opinion shifting since the vaccine rollout’s very earliest stages.
Nevertheless the graffiti artist, who has been unflatteringly dubbed the “Ainsdale W**ksy” for their efforts, does not appear to be slowing down any time soon and continues to blight main roads and vandalise signage with anti-vaccine rhetoric.
