Andrew Burke admits murder of Southport mum Cassie Hayes, as he is sentenced to life behind bars.
A man has admitted murdering a travel agent at her workplace.
Cassie Hayes, 28, died in hospital from a wound to her throat after being attacked at the Tui store in Southport town centre on 13 January.
Andrew Burke, 30, of Vincent Street, St Helens, also pleaded guilty at Liverpool Crown Court to having an offensive weapon, namely a knife, in a public place.
A post-mortem examination concluded Ms Hayes died of shock and haemorrhaging.
A judge sentenced him to life in prison with a minimum term of 26 years
