Allotments shed their loads in high storm wind

Allotment owners in Southport are desperately battening down the hatches to stop their beloved sheds flying away.

Passers by filmed this footage showing sheds and allotment outhouses ready to blow away as winds reached up to 50mph as storm Ciara and storm Dennis clashed in the resort.

Allotment association representatives have asked ploy owners to make sure their equipment and buildings are secured as the winds increase over the next few days.
