AINSDALE – Suspicious Cold Caller

A white male 5’8” in height, approximately 30 years of age, wearing a blue/green jacket and blue trousers called at a house in Ainsdale. He asked the occupant if he could come inside the property to do a free survey on the locks and windows, as there had been a lot of burglaries in the area.

The occupier refused to let him into her home. It was reported he had a ribbon around his neck with a card attached, but it was facing the wrong way so no details were visible. The attitude of the caller was described as poor and not one you would expect of a sales person. He was not threatening or abusive but was stated to be abrupt.
