A specialist school in Ainsdale has closed today according to teachers after a confirmed case of Covid-19 in the school. An alert was sent to parents at Merefield School in Ainsdale last night from teachers to say that a confirmed positive case of COVID-19 had been made. It is currently unconfirmed whether it is a pupil or teacher who has the virus.
