These aerial pictures show the fully erected steel framework of the new Southport Lifeboat Station.
From the images you can see just how big the building will be, in fact it will be more than three times the size of our existing Lifeboat House and we believe it will be the biggest in the North West!
In the coming weeks, the concrete slab for the floor will be poured before the cladding is attached to the side of the building.
This Lifeboat Station is being paid for entirely by public donations and we could not do it without your support!
There is still a long way to go so please continue to support your local independent lifeboat so that we can continue to help others!
