Firefighters tackle blaze at Southport Pleasureland
Firefighters are currently at the scene of a blaze in the grounds of Southport Pleasureland, Wednesday 15 July 2015.
Fire broke out at the park earlier this evening with plumes of thick black smoke billowing high into the air, which could be seen from miles around.
The flames took hold in the area at the Princes Park side of the park, where Southport Zoo used to be.
At this time we do not know who or if the fire was started deliberately.
