Abandoned Southport Visiter offices targeted by vandals

The former Visiter offices are lying in ruins after security abandoned the Tulketh Street building to allow vandals inside.

Windows have been smashed, the front door has been kicked in and the rear of the building is littered with graffiti.

It adds to the growing misfortunes of what was once a proud building in the heart of the town.

The new visiter offices in Lord Street were hailed as a new era for the struggling newspaper but it has never been used in years with all the reporters now working in Liverpool.
