88 punters told to drink up as bar closes

Bar 88 has finally had its number called.

The expensive Lord Street bar shut down this week with disappointed customers being handed back their deposits for parties.

A slowly declining number of customers through the doors is thought to have led to the closure.

Hundreds of disappointed customers have voiced their concerns on Facebook as they were handed back their deposits today.

OTS News understands Bar 88 owners tried for a number of months to keep the bar in the black but a poor Christmas and less than busy new year sealed its fate.
