The Southport Christmas angel has been blown over in high winds this morning becoming the second Christmas Lights victim in the space of two weeks.
Last week fire crews were called to Scarisbrick Avenue after Christmas present shaped lights were blowing dangerously overhead and had to be taken down.
The giant angel on top of the Atkinson has now fallen victim to the bad weather and it’s not yet known how much damage has been caused.
