Tell Southport police what they should be doing!

5th June 2017

Police officers in Southport want you to tell them what they should be doing.

A online poll has been launched by Merseyside Police asking people in the town to say what they want officers to focus on.

You can vote for two of four priorities including:

Beachsafe 2017 – To reduce crime and ASB within the coastal / National Trust sites of North Sefton

ASB – Tackle the effects of street drinking and associated begging in Southport Town Centre.

ASB – To address the effects of youths congregating in the area of Eastbank St & Kings Gardens, Southport.

Speeding vehicles – Undertake enforcement activity to target offences within the residential areas of Southport and the surrounding areas.

Drug dealing, supply and use – Targeting those intent on supplying and using drugs in Southport Town Centre
