With this great weather unfortunately fading away over the weekend into more rainy and cloudy climate we give you 5 things you can do this weekend.
1. Want to have a laugh? Go see the Chuckle Brothers The Chuckles Of Oz show at the Southport Theatre
Dorothy, The Tin Man, the Cowardly Lion and the Scarecrow are among the familiar characters who join the Wizards (Paul and Barry) for this sensational new version of the familiar Wizard of Oz story
Audiences will get a unique glimpse into the Emerald City in a show packed with all the ingredients that make for a family fun packed show including audience participation, laugh – out – loud comedy and spectacular sets and costumes and special effects.

2. Want to try a new sport? Free tennis sessions take place at Victoria Park, College Road, Crosby, on Sunday (April 26).
These coach-led session are going on every week from 1pm-3pm for all ages and standards. All equipment is provided for you.

3. Help out a charity? Legacy Rainbow House children’s charity is calling on people to join its 7th annual Rainbow Ramble this Saturday (April 25).

Sign up and walk further for those who can’t!
Choose to run or walk our 18, 11 or 5 mile Rainbow Ramble routes. All start and finish at Bishop Rawstorne High School in Croston and take you via the country roads surrounding the legacy centre and nearby villages.
All participants completing their chosen course will receive a finishers medal and goody bag.
Suitable for all ages and abilities!
Water and toilet stops are routed along each course.
Adults £15, Under 18′s £5, Children/Adults in wheelchairs or pushchairs are free of charge.
Sponsorship is encouraged but not compulsory – all funds raised will help provide services for children with disabilities and brain injuries.

4. Want to learn more about history? Visit the Atkinson Museum
The recently opened interactive museum Between Land & Sea – 10,000 years of Sefton’s Coast displays a remarkable collection telling the story of local history from pre-historic times to modern day.
The permanent exhibition Discover Ancient Egypt takes you back thousands of years to the time of the Pharaohs, exhibiting an Egyptology collection previously hidden away for over 40 years.
The exhibition spaces features gems from The Atkinson’s permanent collections and we also regularly host touring exhibitions. Artists featured since we have opened include Matisse, L.S. Lowry and Tracey Emin to name a few.
