Data produced by a leading polling platform says that nearly 40% of people in Southport will be taking part in tactical voting at the upcoming election.

Thousands of people are expected to cast their vote to decide who will be Southport’s next MP at the July 4th General Election.

Data produced by polling platform GetVoting.org is specifically designed to show voters what the most tactical vote is for their constituency.

It takes into account local polling data and feedback from residents.

According to the platform they predict that 39% of voters will cast a tactical vote and not necessarily a vote which best represents their own interests.

GetVoting is a tactical voting and voter information campaign from Best for Britain.
