20p entry to find filthy Hesketh Park toilets!

Visitors to Hesketh Park in Southport say they’d rather do their business in the bushes around the parks public toilets rather than spend 20p.

The state of the public toilets has now got so bad, visitors to the park are boycotting them in a bid to get them cleaned up.

Photos sent to OTS News today show that despite promises of daily cleansing, the facilities are all but awash with urine, discarded tissues and backclogged toilet bowls, making them effectively redundant.

One annoyed reader said: “My twin boys wanted the toilet whilst playing in Hesketh Park. “I thought by paying the 20p and the nice array of flowers outside it would be have decent.

“This is what confronted me – you can imagine my disgust!”

The council owned toilets are supposed to be cleansed twice daily but in the last few weeks alone, standards have slipped so dramatically.
