12-year-old Sarah Beck found after search in Burscough

Update: Sarah has now been found safe and well.

A 12-year-old girl has been reported missing in Burscough.

Sarah Beck set out from Red Cat Lane this morning to purchase milk from Tesco in Burscough, but did not take the family bank card for payment and has not been seen since.

A number of local residents from the area have begun a search.

Sarah could not be seen on CCTV footage made available by Tesco and it is believed she does not have a mobile phone on her person.

The police have been informed. Officers are now liaising with the family.

Sarah was last seen wearing a dark olive green padded coat and dark jeans with white and Gold Trainers.

Anyone with any information on Sarah’s whereabouts is asked to call 999.
