11-year-old girl struck by car in Formby Village

Formby Village remains closed after an eleven-year-old was been hit by a car in Formby village centre. Chapel Lane remains partially blocked off as police investigate the incident.

Although her condition is not thought to be serious, it is believed the girl suffered leg injuries during the incident.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and is helping police with their investigation.
