23rd September 2015

A free event will offer advice and support to landlords renting out properties in Sefton.

The drop-in session, on Thursday, October 8, is one of many initiatives by Sefton Council to communicate effectively with landlords, raise awareness of responsibilities and improve standards of accommodation.

There will be a host of information and landlords can browse stalls to learn about council and partner services or attend seminars on issues including Retaliatory Evictions, Welfare Reform and Sefton’s Future Housing Strategy, Tackling Rogue Landlords and Illegal Immigration.

The free event takes place at Bootle Town Hall, Oriel Road Road on Thursday, October 8, from 1pm until 6.30pm. Refreshments will be provided by Envirovent who will also be offering advice on damp, condensation and mould.

If you cannot attend but want to find out more, contact Gaynor Pemberton on 0151 934 4446 or gaynor.pemberton@sefton.gov.uk
